Original certificate of residence in Belgium
Proof of cancellation of residence abroad.

Customs Regulations: For shipments originating from a non-EEC country, a certificate showing that the owner has not resided within the EEC during 12 months preceding arrival. For company moves, a duly signed and stamped declaration of the employer, confirming the transfer. For private removals, a certificate issued by the Belgian Consulate at place of origin confirming the transfer.

Clearance:

Remarks: Foreigners not being in the possession of a certificate of residence in Belgium must pay a warranty of 15% for Customs duties, plus 19% VAT, plus BFRS 500 to cover a possible fine.

Original Certificate of residence in Belgium
Original registration or certificate of title
Original insurance card from country of origin valid six months prior to arrival in Belgium
Original purchase invoice
Proof of residency abroad for twelve months prior to arrival in Belgium
Copy of passport with signature page

Customs Regulations: Must be included in the inventory showing the manufacturer, body and engine number, color, and type of vehicle.
