Customs Regulations: Each person of 20 years of age may bring duty-free 1 bottle (1 liter) of spirits, not exceeding 47 vol. % and 1 bottle (1 liter) of wine not exceeding 21 vol. %, or 12 bottles/cans of beer instead of wine/spirits. Each person 15 years of age may bring duty-free 250 grams tobacco (200 cigarettes).

Remarks: Up to three times the duty-free quantities may be brought into the country subject to payment of monopoly charges, provided these goods have been declared to a customs officer.

Customs Regulations: A nonresident may bring duty-free all wearing apparel, ordinary equipment, food (max 10 kg), personal articles if the items are appropriate and intended for his own use and not for sale. The items must be taken out on his departure.

Remarks: It is prohibited by law to bring fishing equipment, including waders and rubber boots, which have been used abroad unless such equipment has been disinfected according to valid rules (immersion for 10 minutes in a 2% formaldehyde solution). A certificate of disinfection issued by an authorized veterinary officer will be acceptable.
