Customs Regulations: Any shipper aged 16 or over may import duty free up to 200 cigarettes and 50 cigars and 2 lbs. of tobacco. In addition, any person who meets the age requirements of the province through which they enter the country, may bring in up to 40 oz. of liquor or wine or 24 12 oz. cans or bottle of beer or ale.

Required Documents:  Handguns – permit required (but very seldom granted).
Customs Regulations: Regular hunting rifles or shotguns, as described by the manufacturer and are not adapted, present no problem. No restrictions on air pistols and air rifles provided the muzzle velocity does not exceed 500 feet per second.

Required Documents:  Work permit Holders – Temporary entry form E29B; deposit against duties and taxes of 20% of the value up to a maximum deposit of $750 Canadian on effects.
Customs Regulations: Landed immigrant- goods must have been in ownership and use before arrival. RETURNING RESIDENT: must have been outside country for 1-5 years and goods must have been in own use at least 6 months prior to arrival.
