DIPLOMATIC REMOVALS

Required Documents: (1) Spanish inventory legalized by Consulate at origin. Franchise must be obtained from Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the diplomatic mission or the foreign official organization shipper belongs to.

HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND PERSONAL EFFECTS

Required Documents: FOR A CITIZEN: (1) Spanish inventory legalized by Consulate at origin (2) Original OBL/AWB – visaed (3) Certificate of Residence issued by Consulate at origin showing that shipper has lived abroad for at least two years. FOR FOREIGNERS: (1) Legalized Spanish inventory (2) Original OBL/AWB (3) Either a Passport showing a permanent residence visa, or a Bank guarantee on customs value of shipment

Customs Regulations: Duty-free if shipper has lived abroad for at least two years. Shipment must arrive with 90 days of shipper’s arrival.

Importation of inherited goods require a packing list; original AWB/OBL; visaed proof of estate of inheritance; visaed Death Certificate Plants need a health certificate. Professional tools and machines require visaed Certificate of Profession (title, license, and diploma). Non-permanent resident may be required to make bank guarantee deposit, refundable when shipment leaves the country.
